Capabilites overview

At the core of our success lies a diverse and robust set of capabilities, meticulously honed to meet the evolving demands of today's dynamic landscape.

We are committed to continuously expanding our horizons, ensuring we remain at the forefront of our industry and consistently deliver unparalleled value.

Off-Site Construction

We specialise in off-site fabricated components that streamline on-site installation, reduce build times and enhance safety. Our pre-built solutions offer unmatched quality and consistency, especially for high-integrity or restricted-access environments.

3D Scanning & Survey

Accurate from the outset. Our advanced 3D scanning technology captures real-world data with millimetre precision - allowing us to create exact digital models, reduce errors and eliminate costly site rework.

Design Engineering

Our design team uses the latest CAD and CAM software to translate concepts into detailed, manufacture-ready models. Every component is engineered for performance, accuracy, and long-term durability.

Laser & Plasma Profiling

With high-speed laser and plasma profiling capabilities, we cut a wide range of materials with exact precision. Whether for one-off prototypes or large-scale production runs, our profiling services deliver clean edges and fast turnarounds.

Fabrication, Welding and bending

Our coded, experienced fabricator and welders are
our Rock Stars!
We handle complex assemblies, heavy-duty frameworks and fine-detail structures – all produced in-house to strict quality standards and built with integrity.

Metal Assembly & Fitting

More than just fabrication – we deliver fully assembled and functionally tested products. Our assembly team ensures that everything fits, works and meets specification before it ever reaches site.

Product Finishes & Paintshop

Durability and presentation matter. We offer a range of finishing options including powder coating, galvanising, painting and shot blasting
- ensuring your products not only perform but last.

Product Development & Prototyping

Innovation is in our DNA. We work with clients to prototype and develop new products, helping bring ideas to life through rapid iteration, technical refinement, and manufacturability assessments.

Capabilities in numbers

Our strength is reflected in our robust infrastructure and dedicated team. We proudly operate with 300 highly skilled staff members, a fleet of 17 state-of-the-art vehicles, and 4 strategically located factories, enabling us to deliver exceptional service and production capacity across all our operations.

2 Million Pound Scheme to Upgrade Water Facility

A £2M scheme to upgrade electrical and mechanical equipment on the water facility involved the design, manufacture, supply and installation of a large kiosk 8m x 3m x 3m, and a large raised platform.

Designing a Mixer Mounting Frame Around Live Operations

Our client presented JHT Engineering with a significant challenge: to design and install an entirely bespoke support system for a heavy mixing unit within their facility. The critical constraint? There was no opportunity to take the machine out of commission at any point. This meant the entire process – from the initial survey and design considerations to the final installation – had to occur while the mixer remained fully operational. The existing steelwork supporting the unit was old and corroding, necessitating a solution that could integrate new, robust support without interrupting service.

Enabling Safe and Unobstructed Weir Access

Ingenious Engineering – Enabling Safe and Unobstructed Weir Access Project Overview: Navigating Safety and Flow on a Full-Time WeirOur client faced a unique engineering challenge on their full-time weir: the need for safe access for maintenance and servicing. According to both BSEN 4592 and Northwest Water (NWL) safety standards, a load-rated handrail is mandatory whenever the weir walkway is in use. However, the continuous flow rate of water across this particular weir presented a critical dilemma: any permanent fixture or ongoing presence risked disrupting the flow and causing an unacceptable build-up of detritus. The challenge was clear – how to provide robust safety when needed, without compromising the weir's essential function and flow integrity.
